Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMH Certification Required– Dallas, Texas (New/Recent Graduates Considered)
We are seeking a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Interested in working for a residential treatment center in Dallas, Texas. The Provider would see a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents, adults and a geriatric population (evenly split in terms of patient management). The Provider would conduct psychiatric evaluations and consultations as well as medication management. The types of patients vary but the primary diagnosis is addiction with an average length of stay of 30 days. The initial evaluations run approximately 1 hour and follow-ups are every 30 minutes. The types of therapy include; individual, group, family, cognitive behavior therapy, recover oriented therapeutics, expressive arts, wellness ground and aftercare and skills building. The levels of care provided include; Medical Detox, Inpatient Rehab, Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization and IOP. There is a collaborating Psychiatrist and Medical Director that enjoys training and mentoring new and recent graduates and has an excellent relationship with the other Providers on staff. The Provider can expect a base salary of $120,000-$140,000 plus incentives (Depending Upon Experience), with a comprehensive benefits package including; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Malpractice Coverage at 100%, PTO, CME and CME Allowance. Texas does not have a state income tax and residents enjoy reasonable housing costs and a very good standard of living.
