Fast Track–Emergency Medicine Family Nurse Practitioner—Experience in Emergency Medicine Strongly Preferred (ER RN / EMT experience taken into consideration) 3X12 Hour Shifts (Days) 8am /8pm–Enterprise, Alabama
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to work in an Emergency Medicine setting (Fast-Track with floating coverage in the Main ER). The Provider would be working in a predominantly Fast-Track setting but would float to the main ER and manage critical patients with the physicians. The ER is comprised of 30 beds and is a Level II trauma Center with a volume of 60,000 annual encounters with 14 physicians on staff. There is no call requirements for this position. The typical duties would include rapid response, intubations, floor codes, admitting orders etc. The Providers are required to have ACLS, and ATLS would be a plus and training will be provided if the provider is interested in this certification. The position is located in South/Central Alabama convenient to Montgomery, Alabama and Panama City, Florida. The Provider would have collaborating Physician, Physician Assistant and APRN support on-site. The Emergency Services Department consists of 30 patient beds with specialized treatment rooms for major trauma and resuscitation, victims of sexual assault and other emergent needs. The ER has over 60,000 patients annually, which averages 150-200 patients daily and the emergency department has reduced the wait time significantly by implementing rapid cycle testing and a throughput initiative. The compensation package is negotiable (Depending Upon Experience) but ranges from $60.00-$65+ per hour (shift differential on top) with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, LTD, STD, dental and 401K with match.
